Camp Adventure Adventure Seekers Camp Intended
for campers who have completed sixth through eighth grade. While at
camp, kids will challenge themselves and their friends through the many
activities offered during the week. They will learn about the outdoors,
teamwork, and personal responsibility, all while enjoying everything
that nature has to offer. Camp activities include: swimming, canoeing,
fishing, challenge course, high ropes, hiking, rock climbing and much
more! Our CIT program is designed for those aged 16 to 17 who are interested in pursuing a career working with children, or who wish to expand their resume for college. After passing through an interview, successful applicants will go through the same kind of training as our regular staff and will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful programming of Camp Adventure. CITs will have the opportunity to become lifeguard, first aid and CPR certified as well as having training on our low ropes course. They will also be assigned to a cabin where they will get first hand experience in a summer camp cabin. Applications received from December through February, places are limited. |

After School Adventure This summer the
Afterschool adventure will have its first week of summer camp held in
mid July. Afterschool adventure allows young adolescents to grow in a
safe, and secure enviorment where each individual in the program is
allowed to express themselves in a creative fashion. Afterschool
Adventure teaches students the enjoyment of listening, learning, and
participating to achieve goals set by their peers. So we are very
excited to take what we have learned collectively in the classroom and
transfer our values to the camp this summer. Open to all students involved in the Youth Assistance program.
This
week at camp is designed keeping in mind the unique challenges that
some youth face. You can enjoy hiking, swimming, boating, sports and
games while learning how to positively interact with other people.
Campers will learn about the outdoors, teamwork, and personal
responsibility in a safe setting. Crossroads Camp Camp Adventure provides a summer camp experience for the
residents of crossroads for youth. This is a private session. |
